Museum Description: carved wooden hair ornament in shape of hour class or bow-tie, half is larger than the other. Three rows of incised lines, stained with red pigment, follow the shape of the ornament and run outside inward. A triangle also red, is incised in each half of the shape, inside the three border lines. Reverse side is plain.
NDT Note: hair bow-wood (maple?) 3/8" thick, shiny edges possibly from fabric rubbing, rating: 1.
