NDT Note: behind display glass since at least 1960, this silver crescent gorget has a lovely turtle etched in the center, the turtle has round etchings in the center of its back following the shape of shell, in the very center, there appears to be a vertical line that bisects the shell with another circle of sorts bisecting the line.
Manuscript Catalog reads: "Baker-Miller Co. Purchase 1915-69: 8663 Silver crescent Miami, Indiana" (p. 157).
